Why This Retreat Is Special
The Location Advantage
San Miguel de Allende isn't just another pretty destination—it's a UNESCO World Heritage city that was recently named Best City in the World by Travel & Leisure. This isn't marketing hyperbole. San Miguel is a place that has captured the hearts of writers and creatives for decades.
What makes San Miguel special for writers?
A thriving creative community: The town is full of writers, artists, and creatives who've chosen this as their base
Inspiring architecture: Colonial streets, colorful buildings, and rooftop bars that spark creativity
Perfect January weather: 75-80 degrees with dry climate—ideal writing conditions
Walkable and safe: You can focus on your craft without worrying about logistics
Gorgeous San Miguel de Allende (Lainey Cameron’s photos- she lives there!)
